Pigeon Peristaltic Nipple Size SS Description
The Pigeon Peristaltic Nipple Size SS (00425) (Edition 2) provides the gentlest feeding start for newborns, premature babies, and small infants. Crafted in Japan from ultra-soft medical silicone, this specialized Size SS nipple features a micro-calibrated round hole that delivers the slowest milk flow in the Pigeon range.
This controlled, gentle flow gives delicate newborns adequate time to coordinate sucking, swallowing, and breathing rhythms without gagging or spitting up. The pliable silicone stretches smoothly to match the peristaltic motion of baby’s tongue, encouraging healthy oral cavity development while preventing bottle aversion.
An integrated air ventilation groove prevents bottle vacuum, allowing steady, effortless flow without air ingestion. Designed to fit all standard slim-neck Pigeon bottles, it offers clinical feeding reassurance for the early weeks of life.
Wash with mild baby bottle detergent; sterilize in boiling water for 5 minutes or in steam sterilizers.
Storage: Store clean and dry in a hygienic nursery case.
Important: Ensure the air groove is clean and free of dried milk deposits before feeding.
