Aptamil Anti-Reflux Infant Milk Formula (800g, From Birth) is a nutritionally complete, medically specialized infant formula formulated for the dietary management of frequent spitting up, posseting, and gastroesophageal reflux. Backed by 50 years of Nutricia clinical expertise, it provides relief for uncomfortable babies and anxious parents.
The formula is uniquely thickened with natural Carob Bean Gum (Locust Bean Gum), a natural vegetable fiber that thickens the feed and, unlike starch-based thickeners, maintains its thickness inside the acidic gastric environment. This increased viscosity helps keep feed down in the stomach, dramatically reducing spit-up episodes.
Delivering a complete array of vital nutrients, including DHA, prebiotics, iron, and essential vitamins, it ensures your baby flourishes without compromising digestive comfort. Because this formula is naturally thicker, parents should pair it with a variable-flow or fast-flow bottle teat.
Sterilize bottle and teat. Boil fresh water and let cool for 45 minutes to around 40°C. Pour water into bottle, add exact level scoops of powder, cap and shake vigorously for 20 seconds. Allow to stand for 7 minutes to thicken, shake again, and check temperature before feeding.
